We Are Herriman – CJ Proulx

Curtis (CJ) Proulx joined the Herriman family a little over nine years ago. He was hired in the Streets Department and later decided his passion and skill set with electrical, concrete, carpentry, and plumbing trades made him a perfect fit for the Facilities Department. After working hard and developing his abilities, he was recently promoted to the Facilities Department Manager. CJ is responsible for the maintenance and repair of Herriman City buildings and facilities. These duties range from routine maintenance, like repairing drywall, painting, replacing plumbing fixtures, and electrical work to more complex and larger projects, such as the new pergola that CJ and his crew built over the patio at City Hall. CJ is also the City’s main electrician, performing diagnostic tests and electrical work for all City departments, including the large motors and pumps for the Water Department. The Events Department also keeps him busy with the PRCA Rodeo, Towne Days, and Enduro Challenge, just to name a few. This time of year, he is a key player in decorating for the holiday season and running power for the Night of Lights. CJ has a very positive attitude and takes pride in his work. He is a great asset and a valuable member of the Herriman Family.
