Chase those winter blues away by participating in the Herriman Arts Council's snowman building competition! Starting on January 3, 2022, please submit a photo of your best snowman creation to the comment section of the pinned post on the Arts Council Facebook page, facebook.com/herrimanartscouncil.

The submission deadline is Sunday, February 13, 2022.

Open to all Herriman residents.Some “Cool” prizes will be awarded to the “Best in Snow” winner of each of the following categories:

• Individual builder 12 & Under

• Individual builder 13 & Over

• Family (up to 5 builders)

Bring your snowman to life using accessories, colors, themes, etc. Be creative and imaginative! Entries made out of snow may be given preference, but since we can’t control the weather, you are free to use any material you desire to build your snowman! Winners will be contacted after the judging is complete.

Rules:

*Participants may only submit 1 snowman photo entry per person/family. 

*Submit a photo of your snowman to the comment section of the pinned post on the Arts Council Facebook page, facebook.com/herrimanartscouncil. 

*Include in your comment a picture of your creation, which category you are entering, and a title for your snowman.

*In addition to your photo comment, please complete this form https://forms.gle/6GyE6XZoFvDf3T9V6. You must do both to be entered into the contest.

*Entries must be received by Sunday, February 14, 2021

*Entries will be judged in the following categories: Individual builder 12 & Under, Individual builder 13 & Over, Family (up to 5 builders). 

*All entries must be family-friendly; photos that include obscenities or inappropriate articles of clothing, accessories, etc., will be disqualified.

*Entries can be built out of any material desired.*Entries made out of snow may be given preference.

*All entries must include a sign in the photo with the snowman that says “HAC, Do You Want To Build A Snowman Contest 2021”. Snowmen must have been built in Herriman this year. 

*By participating in this contest, each entrant acknowledges that his/her entry in the contest constitutes that entrant’s consent to use, publish, reproduce, and for all purposes including publicity & promotion, in any media each winners name, likeness, photograph, hometown and state, and any portion thereof without further compensation, credit or right of review or approval, except where prohibited by law.
