Community Outreach Program

The Community Outreach Program facilitates communication among all affected parties involved in residential and economic development in Herriman. It bridges the gap of understanding and diplomacy between developers and residents.

Communities

The purpose of each Community in the Outreach Program is to assist in identifying and relaying local problems and needs of their designated area.  Each Community procures a channel of communication to the City staff that promotes effective, informed, and representative participation of citizens in government and self-help initiatives.

The number of geographic Communities is seven as outlined on the Herriman City Community map.  The number of Communities may be revised as needed due to population fluctuations, annexation and specific area communication needs.
