City Hall Room Rentals

The Herriman City Hall offers a variety of rooms for rent, including community and conference rooms. These spaces are available for meetings, events, and gatherings, with specific guidelines and fees outlined below.

Blackout Dates

Rentals are not available on the following dates:

  • Wednesdays
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth National Freedom Day
  • Independence Day
  • Pioneer Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving (Thursday – Sunday)
  • Christmas Holiday (December 23 – January 1)

Community Room Rentals

The Community Rooms at Herriman City Hall are versatile spaces for larger gatherings and events.

Available Spaces

  • Community Room A: Max Occupancy 50
  • Community Room A & B: Max Occupancy 130
  • Community Room B is not available to rent on its own
  • Occupancy counts include table and chairs

Rental Hours

Community Rooms are available for rent during the following times (except during blackout dates):

  • Monday to Friday (except Wednesdays): 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Community Room Rental Fees

All Community Room rentals include the use of tables, chairs, A/V equipment, and kitchen access at no additional charge. A two-hour minimum booking is required.

  • Community Room A
    • Resident Weekday Rate: $100/hour (4-hour minimum)
    • Non-Resident Weekday Rate: $200/hour (4-hour minimum)
    • Resident Weekend Rate: $150/hour (4-hour minimum) or $1,500 for a full day
    • Non-Resident Weekend Rate: $250/hour (4-hour minimum) or $2,000 for a full day
  • Community Room A & B
    • Resident Weekday Rate: $150/hour (4-hour minimum)
    • Non-Resident Weekday Rate: $300/hour (4-hour minimum)
    • Resident Weekend Rate: $200/hour (4-hour minimum) or $2,000 for a full day
    • Non-Resident Weekend Rate: $350/hour (4-hour minimum) or $2,500 for a full day

Deposits for Community Rooms

  • Weekday Rentals: $200 (residents), $400 (non-residents)
  • Weekend Rentals: $300 (residents), $500 (non-residents)
  • Key Deposit: $50

Policies for Community Rooms

  • Cleaning and Setup: Renters are responsible for setting up, cleaning, and ensuring the room is returned to its original condition.
  • Cancellations: Full refunds (minus a $25 admin fee) are available if canceled at least two weeks in advance. Cancellations within two weeks receive a 50% refund of the rental fee.
  • Insurance: Groups of 50 or more may need to provide a certificate of insurance.
  • Permitted Uses: Community Rooms may not be rented for commercial purposes or events that generate revenue.

Included Items

The Community Room has a 4-hour minimum on all reservations and includes:

  • 12 round tables (approximately 48" in diameter)
  • 48 rectangle tables (approximately 60"x24")
  • 130 chairs
  • Kitchen: 1 microwave, 1 fridge, and ice dispenser
  • 2 projectors (one in A and one in B)

Reservations require a cleaning and key deposit, which will be refunded upon compliance with the rules provided on the Community Room Rental Agreement. Please be aware of the cancellation policy.

If you intend to use any audio/visual equipment, please call 801-446-5323 to coordinate training with IT before your scheduled event. IT staff will not be available outside of normal business hours for support.

Once your event is scheduled, you must pick up a key before your event happens. This must be done during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you fail to pick up your key during business hours, we will not be able to meet you after hours to open doors for your reservations.

After hours, call 801-446-5323 option #4, leave a detailed message, and you will be contacted (use this contact if you are having an issue with getting into the building, e.g., key malfunction and not working).

The conference rooms at the Herriman City Hall are ideal for smaller meetings and gatherings.
